I was born in 1987 in Quito-Ecuador. I lived my childhood and adolescence in Argentina, since 2001 I live in Ecuador. I am an Environmental Engineer by profession and I have a Master's degree in Conservation Biology. I like art very much (I am self-taught). Since my master's degree I have dedicated myself to research in environmental education, thanks to this I have been able to join art and science in favor of conservation and sustainable development. Today I work with my husband, who is a marine biologist, to promote the conservation of sea turtles on the Ecuadorian coast.
The Ecuadorian coast is the habitat of sea turtles, but it is also the living space of fishing communities. Women, men and sea turtles face ecosystem loss due to climate change and overexploitation. My research aims to understand the social, environmental and climatic context and interactions between sea turtles and fishing communities. It also proposes sustainable fishing practices and economic alternatives in the communities through environmental education, with the intention of involving women more actively in these processes.

Now a day’s technology was highly advanced and many of human being’s problems are solved and simplified. Health related technologies are those get more attention especially first aid technologies in an emergency case. The main aim of an effective pre hospital first aid emergency medical machine should be to provide universal emergency care along with assured quality in an emergency case. However, in developing countries like Ethiopia there is no more first aid medical machine exists in an ambulance, on train or other place where people far from hospital or other health service center. As a result, many people lose their life before they reach hospital in an emergency case. I am a Behavioral Researcher with the Center for Advanced Hindsight, where I strive to use human-centered design, behavioral science, and field experiments to facilitate sustainability. My project focuses on testing methods that governments can motivate individuals to use more sustainable transit options such as carpooling, public transportation, walking, and cycling more frequently in Los Angeles. The primary aim is to reduce drive-alone behavior and traffic. This was developed to focus on improving the sustainability of commuting due to high traffic congestion and CO2 emissions. I hope to understand why commuters generally choose to travel alone, incentivize these commutes, and remove the friction associated with more sustainable alternatives. By exploring this, my team hopes to develop innovative solutions that will contribute to the Sustainable Development Goal of building more sustainable cities and communities.
